Moderat
Leftfield meets ambient minimal with haunting vocals simmering over tribal beats. Moderat is a collaberative effort of two of Berlin's finest producers, Apparat and Modeselektor. Moderat's album Moderat has been on my playlist for over a year now. It is my album of choice for London Underground journeys and even though I don't commute by tube any more it still has it's rightful place on my phone. It has this magical quality of slowing everything down. I'm able to sit there and watch the world fly by in the blink of an eye. It's awesome and yes I need to learn more superlatives.
